We’re so excited to debut HWB Real Weddings with the February nuptials of Houston bride Teresa Marie Lowther to groom Solomon Bryan Mason, IV!

This magnificent wedding’s pink motif (it’s the bride’s favorite color, wouldn’t ya know?) started at the ceremony, where blush, pink, cream and champagne floral from Plants ‘n Petals filled St. Peter’s Methodist Church for a traditional ceremony conducted by the groom’s grandfather, the Reverend Solomon B. Mason, Jr.

Teresa looked stunning in her ivory satin Kenneth Pool gown and cathedral-length couture veil, her pretty bridesmaids all in a row—in black tissue-taffeta Alvina Valenta with blush pink ribbons at the waist.

The bride and groom arrived at their elegant reception in style, pulling up to Royal Oaks Country Club in a vintage Rolls Royce. There, they joined guests for dinner, and, of course, dancing—along with a magnificent garlanded cake from Houston favorite Cakes by Gina and a delightful candy bar with an oversize “LOVE” logo. Plants ‘n Petals beautified the already lovely ballroom with tall centerpieces and floral accents in shades of blush, pink and cream.

We’ll second that. Congratulations, Teresa & Bryan!

Bride Teresa, a self-professed “daddy’s girl,” says she treasures walking down the aisle with her father. “He told me he loved me, and then we stood there, arm in arm, waiting,” she recalls. When it was their moment to make their way toward the altar, “We looked at each other and smiled, ‘This is it!’ I could see in his eyes how much he loved me.” Seconds later, she lived out an equally cherished moment, as she approached Bryan, and their new life together: “Walking toward my groom was absolutely amazing and just as I always imagined. Seeing his face the moment he saw me was so loving and true, reassuring me that he was truly the one God had planned for me to marry my entire life—my soul mate.”

Teresa’s mom, who says her daughter “gave 100 percent in her support of me and decisions I had to make in her absence,” advises other brides: “Just love and support your mother as she wades through mounds of information to plan for her daughter’s beautiful day!”
