Kirsten + Andrew
Though they met during their sophomore year at Texas A&M, Kirsten and Andrew didn’t really get to know one another until one fateful Fourth of July party the summer after they graduated. “We drove there and back together, and just spent the whole time laughing and finding how much we weirdly had in common,” Kirsten recounts. On the evening of Aug. 13, 2016, at a park overlooking the twinkling Houston skyline, “Andrew asked me the easiest question I’ve ever had to answer,” Kirsten says. Eleven months later, the couple celebrated their union as husband and wife in the Barn at Moffitt Oaks. “The rustic atmosphere with the string lights and our beautiful flowers and greenery”—courtesy of Haute Flowers & Events—“just made for the prettiest setting!” And while the couple loved “dancing the night away with our families and friends,” it was during the private moments—especially the first look and first dance—where, Kirsten says, “we could be alone, and appreciate the whole night, together.”
